At Ky*** one Sunday during a church service, as I was using the three ropes illustration to demonstrate how Christ removed our sin, the Pastor who had been praying and fasting for two weeks was hearing audibly a voice saying just as those handkerchiefs had been removed from the ropes, so had the Lord removed his inherited curses from him. Currently, he has taken up the responsibility of organising training in the area churches of the landing sites.

"It was unthinkable in (church name withheld for security reasons) that any conversions could ever be made there at all and almost everyone else was on the verge of leaving the Church. It was in this absurd and hopeless situation that I found them, and I happened to propose SOWERS to them. Words fail me to describe how receptive they were that day and still are.
They immediately mobilised themselves into a class of 12 and got trained. The open-air broke the ice by causing the unbelievable to happen - 2 people responded and joined the church promptly. Church life has resumed and is more vibrant than ever before. It haunts them a lot to have been putting off all along a program so dear as this.
We already have their invitation for another class of 12.

There is an urgent need for the Luganda, Ateso and Luo translations so further development of the Sowers teams can be done in the Eastern, Central and Northern Regions, as most of them don’t know English.
We are very much in need of at least 25 solar lamps (flexi way) for field trainers and a sleeping bag for Ronald. There is also a need for 5 audio Bibles for Fred, Moses, Paul, Ronald, Richard and Joseph who operate under very tight schedules yet greatly in need of constant spiritual feeding.
We are experiencing a prolonged drought which is affecting not only our farms but also our SOWERS’ Programs as people have no food and fees for Seminars.

I can’t hesitate to say that in March SOWERS blew up in my country. It so happened that Richard, Paul, Fred and Ronald were sent from the head office to E-, D- and K- respectively to teach several Level 1 seminars for a week. On their return journey they were overwhelmed by the many phone calls for invitations for classes and Pastors’ meetings. The invitations came from the extreme parts of the country (Amurata and Malaba) and as far as even across borders (Kenya and Sudan) scrambling equally for the program. You could wonder which seniors had done it! Surprisingly, all this noble work was an achievement of newly trained Level 1 Sower volunteers. How I pray that God will grant every Sower with such a zeal; so as to propel him/ her to join the race and swiftly, pass on the baton.

Pastor Moses led a team of SOWERS in the Kyenjojo area. 106 people came to the Lord after open air meetings.
