These Sowers help churches reach their communities more effectively. SOS is a handy acronym for Support of Sowers (staff, not SOWERS the Mission). Gifts for SOS go to front line trainers teaching churches the theory and practice of outdoor evangelism.
Sowers go by invitation of churches that want to reach their communities for Christ more effectively. Sowers have the language, the training and other abilities needed for this work. They have the time too, if partners can release them from working to feed their families. A well-supported family that cannot afford ministry costs achieves little. Therefore, an amount to cover these costs is added to personal needs to reach the support figure we pray for.
Would you join us in praying that financial and prayer partners will be found?
Ps Ibrahim writes that before he became a Christian in 1984, "... I was fond of fighting. I was not staying well with my friends even at school. One day when I went to the revival meeting a certain pastor was preaching from Romans 5:8 where the Bible says when we were still sinners Christ died for us. And I was touched with these words in my heart and I saw that I was running short of the glory of God, I prayed in my heart asking for forgiveness of my sins and I accepted the Lord to be my Lord and Saviour."
