Teaching manuals are used for training church teams at Level 1 and 2. They are in a number of main languages and enable people to be trained in their mother tongue

Level 1 manuals cost approx. $1AUD each
Level 2 manuals cost approx. $2.50AUD
Sketchboards
The sketchboard is the centre-piece of the SOWERS Program. It attracts the people to the meeting and makes the Gospel message relevant and memorable.
The sketchboard is a means of visualising a Gospel message. We retain about 10% of what we hear, and 60% of what we see and hear. As the Gospel message is painted it creates curiosity, holds interest and conveys the message clearly
Every SOWERS team needs a SKETCHBOARD KIT which includes:
- Board and easel;
- Newsprint paper;
- Paint box: Paints, Brushes, Clips, Hooks and Counselling Booklets.

Counselling BookletsCounselling Booklets
A counselling booklet is a simple Gospel presentation in words and pictures. Counselling booklets have proven to be very effective in helping enquirers to understand the Gospel, to come to Christ, and to know how to begin to live for Christ.
Annually, over 50,000 people are counselled in Central and East Africa and each one takes a counselling booklet home. Counselling booklets are available in many languages and keeping up with the supply is a constant priority.
500 counselling booklets cost approx. $25AUD
Contact Tracts
These are small leaflets which share the Gospel simply and are given to interested people who are not ready to be counselled and led to Christ.
Many thousands of these contact tracts are being printed every year for distribution at open air meetings. They have been produced in many local languages and are a good contact point which can lead to sharing the Gospel more deeply.

Follow-Up Lessons
This ten lesson course is used to help new converts to begin their Christian walk.
When the SOWERS Program started to advance in Central Africa, the need for a Follow-up Course became apparent. A ten lesson course was developed and it has been successfully used in individual and group discipling. Many churches have used the course to ground their members in the basics of Christian living. These lessons have been translated into many local languages.
Approx cost is $10AUD for 50 booklets.
BiblesBibles
Bibles in local languages for new churches.
New churches are planted as a result of the Gospel being received by local people at open air meetings. Each new church needs the Word of God to grow. Two Bibles in local languages are given to each new church planted.
Cost per Bible is approx. $14AUD
Bicycles for Trainers
Many of the Level 3 Sowers travel long distances to teach Seminars and encourage teams.
Bicycles are very much appreciated by Trainers as they:
- Make their ministry easier.
- Can carry equipment, teaching materials, and personal items.
- Save time in travelling to distant places.
Cost of a bicycle is approx. $150AUD
Sleeping Bags for TrainersSleeping Bags for Trainers
Sleeping bags protect the Trainers from harsh weather when out in the field.
Some of Trainers have only one blanket at home and they cannot take it away from their wives when they go out to train churches and encourage teams. They often have to sleep ‘under the stars’ and a sleeping bag is a great blessing to them.

Metal Storage BoxesMetal Storage Boxes
A metal box is used to protect SOWERS equipment and materials.
Security of equipment generally is often of concern and provision of secure storage for Sowers equipment has been a necessary investment in some locations. These boxes protect equipment from thieves, water and white ants.
Cost of a secure box is approx. $70AUD
Equipment for Level 4 Sowers
Each Level 4 Trainers needs their own equipment for teaching Level 2 Seminars.
This includes a carrying bag, 20 bottles, 20 brushes, paint, chalk, duster, pegs, rulers, pencils, erasers, candles, 10 practise boards.
Cost is approx. $50AUD per set
