We organised Bible interpretation courses with a nearby Chapel. We observed that many church leaders and pastors did not have a background in Bible interpretation nor had they had any training. This has been affecting church members' spiritual growth. Some church leaders have no confidence to preach or to lead Bible studies. After undergoing the training, everyone was extremely excited to start studying the Bible for their own spiritual growth and for preaching purposes.
Our visit to Tanzania was very encouraging for the Executive. It gave them an opportunity to ask questions and many things were clarified for them. There was a suggestion from them to start the SEEDS course. They asked if we could empower one of the Sowers with transport and communication devices.
In Mount Elgon, I had an opportunity to train forty-three people, including a pastor and church leaders. During the SOWERS Level 1 Seminar, four people gave their lives to the Lord and they were baptized. After an Open-Air meeting, three came forward during an invitation and eight people were counseled and committed their lives to the Lord. Pastors were incredibly happy with the SOWERS method of reaching out. We won souls in a short amount of time. They said it is amazingly effective! Some suggested that the SOWERS Programme could be an effective tool in schools. Emmanuel
