A chief and a leader of a secret sect practising witchcraft have recently both accepted the Lord. Please pray for them. Fifteen opoen air meetings were held. Two new churches were planted and other churches with SOWERS teams are growing.
A key characteristic of the SOWERS Program is the way that a Sower duplicates what he/she does with each new church team trained. The new team then multiplies itself by reaching out to new converts.

I recently trained some students in open air campaigning near Lake Malawi. Eight percent of students were fishermen and they understood well when I was talking of fishing for men. I stayed there five days and every meal was served with fish. I enjoyed swimming in Lake Malawi, where the water was cool, and I also tried to ride a small canoe.
In Mponela we had two open air meetings. At one of these an old man collapsed after hearing the gospel.
He said he had been drinking for 35 years and had not found peace all that time, and he was so touched by the gospel message.
