Thank you for your support. The course has been completed and Sowers are rising to the challenges.
This project is to convene a conference for key Sowers in DR Congo so that they can work through the changes that have taken place within the Mission over recent years. Much of this would be based around SEED courses that they would work through together. As DRC is such a large country, bringing key folk together for an intensive time of training and learning gives an opportunity for fellowship, encouragement and helps to get everyone on the same page.

Your gift was hugely appreciated by Kafusha's family and fellow Sowers. Thank you.
Kafusha served SOWERS faithfully for many years in the Luapula Province where he was responsible for the ministry. This project is to help his family with the financial costs associated with his death and burial.

The project as planned was carried out with satisfaction. Four members, including two senior leaders of the Methodist Church in the Central African Republic and the Superintendent's wife, were trained at Level 3. With much gratitude we confirm that the funds transmitted to us for this project were actually used to solve the problems that were caused by the bandits who attacked the house of Pastor Emmanuel on November 1 and December 3, 2021. These funds helped treat Ms. Carole who was hit in the left eye, repair broken windows and doors, buy some school supplies for the children, and buy the computer and printer.
This project is to help replace what was stolen from the Kakudjis, especially the children's uniforms, school bags etc, while Emmanuel has to replace his laptop, printer, modem, cell phone etc in order to be able to carry out his work.

Fully funded, thank you. Completion of the project awaits roads becoming passable again after the rainy season.
Pastoral encouragement has rarely been more needed than in these unprecedented Covid-19 times. Additionally, some of our Coordinators who normally provide this pastoral care have other serious long-term illness preventing them from doing it. We hope this project will enable this much-needed pastoral and coordination visitation to proceed.

What happened?
First report
Two major activities were planned, but also carried out in the two West African countries: Côte d'Ivoire and Togo.
In Côte d'Ivoire - On this second missionary trip, we managed to set up the two important committees for the Ministry of SOWERS: The National Board and the Sowers Executive Committee of Côte d'Ivoire. This installation was preceded by training and capacity building for the members of each committee. We had gone through all of SOWERS International's daily presentations on the operation and management of the department. And from DR Congo, we had managed to bring a few quantities of evangelization materials: brochures and others.
In Togo -We had spent two full weeks training Level 1 and 2 sowers. Four open-airs (outdoors) were also organized. And as this is the first time that SOWERS has organized its activities in this country, we can conclude that the ministry's implementation project has indeed been successful in Togo. The various parish teams formed each received free equipment in work equipment brought from DR Congo.
This project had a great impact and is bearing the fruits expected by the Lord, Master of Mission. The Sowers are motivated to engage in divine work with new impetus and with new strategies of evangelization. Churches in these countries looked forward to meeting a reliable partner in evangelism.
Second report
From Côte d’Ivoire:
- Massive awareness of the Sowers members according to the different regions where they live.
- Regular committee meetings to encourage and reflect on the ministry’s progress. Contacts with churches are multiplying.
- The missions of the establishment of the new churches in the North of the country by Associate Sowers, Auguste
From Togo:
- There has been successful Level 3 training of five Sowers from different regions of Togo.
- Positive contacts with the churches interested in the training of evangelists. The five Level 3 Sowers also organized Level 1 training and open-air meetings in last November and several people gave their lives to Christ, among whom there was a renowned female fetishist in the country.

This project will see the launch of SOWERS in Central African Republic. Pastor Sachou (ex Ivory Coast) is keen to get the Program up and running and will be overseeing it in CAR. The United Methodist Church aims to plant 50 new churches in the next two years. Emmanuel from DR Congo will help and advise. Could you help meet some of the inevitable costs?
