Harrison is a peasant farmer growing maize and cotton on a small scale and he was struggling to support his family financially. His two daughters dropped out of school as he couldn't manage to pay school fees for two girls and three boys. The girls ended up in early marriages. One of his sons is a teacher in the village and the other two are still at school.
Harrison knew how to repair bicycles but was challenged due to lack of tools. The project enabled him to buy a new set of tools. He has now refurbished and expanded his business which is operated under a shelter. He used to repair one to two bicycles a day but now he can repair five to seven bicycles a day.
The proceeds from the bicycle repair business are helping him to support his family and his two remaining children in school. He now comfortably goes out for SOWERS ministry leaving his family behind financially safe.
Harrison is a Level 3 Sower and a member of the Eastern Region Committee. He has five children, two girls and three boys and lives at E, pastoring the local Baptist church. The church is growing fast due to his involvement in SOWERS meetings and activities. In April, 35 people were baptized at his church. They came to the Lord after a number of open air meetings.
At Si** we had planned our open-air meeting close to the ground where a political rally was also conducted. By the time we started our meeting, all the people flocked to our meeting and the political rally was disturbed. Thank God that many people received Jesus at our open-air meeting.

When we had the demonstration open air at Target Four Ways with pastors of Hope Church Planters Association, most of them were overwhelmed with the results of the open air. Among these pastors there was a certain pastor of an African church who was not born again. Thank God that during this open-air he gave his life to Jesus.

The exciting news this quarter is that Sowers Seniors in the Central Region of Malawi in August / September have started three churches in conjunction with the Bible Society of Malawi and Life Ministry Malawi. The Bible Society of Malawi provided funds to Life Ministry for evangelism cost and Life Ministry partnered with SOWERS International Malawi to conduct open-air meetings, follow-ups and church planting. During the day Sowers conducted a series of open-air meeting using a sketch board and invited people to watch a Jesus film at night. In the morning Sowers followed up the new converts and started a church. SOWERS identified men to look after the new churches. There are plans to start two more churches in this coming quarter.
