Want a quick overview of all 6 Levels?

The last Level completes the cycle – it fully equips the Sower to be able to teach all five of the other Levels, including teaching the Level 4 Trainers and mentoring the Level 5s as they learn to assess their Level 3 trainees.

A typical Level 6 Sower has considerable national or regional influence as a ministry leader. They may be a Regional or National Director, or they may oversee a specific area of their nation.

Currently, there are Level 6 leaders in Zambia, Malawi, and Uganda. The Asian nations have developed through Level 5 at this point.

Level 6 Testimony – Spiritual Descendants

There are many of my fellow Sowers who I have trained over many years and they are still active in the ministry. They have come to know how to interpret the Bible, the importance of prayer cells and how to share the Gospel through the SOWERS ministry. Through them many have come to know Jesus and are still coming into God’s kingdom.                                            -Stephen K, Zambia

Level 6 Fast Facts

Who attends:

Committed and experienced Level 5 Sowers. They must be fluent in teaching the Level 2 and Level 3 courses, and have supervised many SOWERS open air teams.

Fluency in Levels 2 and 3 is so important because at Level 6, they must be able to evaluate the teachers of these courses, and the teachers of the teachers. It’s a high degree of expertise and proficiency, at the heart of which is a passion for sharing the gospel.

Who teaches:

Other Level 6 Sowers, ideally one from the same nation. Otherwise, it will be a Regional Director, or another Level 6 leader will be sent in.

How long it takes:

Once someone is ready for Level 6, the final process doesn’t take long. Getting the experience to reach this level takes a long time, but the final step can be done in about six days. One day to go through the manual on how to evaluate Level 4 candidates, and then five days for the Level 2 seminar that the Level 4 candidate will be teaching and assessing.

What they learn:

They learn how to evaluate Level 4 teachers, as well as Level 5 Trainers working with Level 3 teachers.

So, at a typical Level 2 seminar, you will see the Level 4 teacher and the Level 6 evaluator of that teacher. Sometimes more than one of these courses must be done before the Level 6 certificate can be awarded.

Level 6 Testimonies

Uganda – A Transformed Ministry

In 2010 I was trained at Level 1 and 2 and have been working my way up to Level 6 which I completed in June 2015.  SOWERS has translated itself from being a mere tool in my life. This is being very clearly exhibited in the following aspects of my life:

  • My concern and burden for the lost has intensified
  • I have adopted the skill of sharing the Gospel as opposed to my former preaching approach
  • Now I’m able to keep on the forward move and to create a lively atmosphere in teaching
  • I have developed an awareness that it’s the SOWERS they will see in me that they will understand
  • I am getting more satisfaction in reaching out to the lost and training others than keeping to the inside-church programmes
  • I have developed my teams at all levels of the SOWERS Program.

In fact my ministry is being geared towards taking the course of concentrating on open air evangelism and training others; bringing back to life the very heart-felt yearning I had when I first believed – the salvation of the lost.

Zambia – Multiplying Leaders

I started my training with SOWERS in 1991 and became a Level 6 Sower in 2005. SOWERS has impacted me in so many ways. Through SOWERS Ministry I have grown spiritually and become stable in the things of God. I used to be ignorant concerning how to lead someone to Christ, but thanks be to God for those who were in the forefront of implementing the SOWERS Program in my country  – Zambia

How does SOWERS work? What do we do?

Our central strategy uses a 6-Level Evangelism Training program that engages brand new believers as well as established leaders who want to grow their impact for God’s kingdom. The goal is to continually raise up new evangelists and missionaries to reach thousands of people in developing nations, where open air evangelism has proven to be highly effective.
